New Website Live: Quick Update Before I Unplug

Hey!

How are you all doing? It’s been less than a week since my last email, so this is unusual. But, I’ll be out next week and I wanted to share this piece of information with you before I leave (not bringing a computer!).

Anyway, as I mentioned in my latest email, I started rebuilding my website using Framer. If you’ve been involved in design or development at all these last years, you’ve surely come across both Framer and Webflow. Well, lately I’ve been experiencing more and more issues with my Gatsby setup—no wonder, given that the site was repeatedly rebuilt using the same old base. So, I thought it’d make sense to move to something that allows me more creative freedom. If you know me, you know I love to play around with my website. There are some major drawbacks still - no RSS support and no way of adding blockquotes to posts to name a few.

Well, it’s here now! No major changes, just small pieces of delight here and there. I didn’t do all of this by myself though; I had help from the very best, Aaron Rolston. If you’re ever looking for a Framer/Webflow developer, look no further. I know he handles both because my website isn’t the only one I’ve had the pleasure of working with him on lately—he also built the new Summer Health website that just launched!

I’m still planning on re-doing the case studies, but all in due time. Let me know what you think and if you find anything that looks off. You’re the first people I’m telling this; it literally launched hours ago.

Oh! I almost forgot, I updated my “Tools I use to run my business” page now too!

ps. Noticing the website's dark mode? It syncs with your device settings!

This is what I would later call the Rule of 95/5: Manage 95 percent of your business down to the penny; spend the last 5 percent “foolishly.”

Let's keep this quick, I specialize in delivering outstanding digital products through strategy and design. Through my newsletter, I'll share with you how I've helped companies like Google, Spotify and Loom have better user experiences. Occasionally, I'll throw in a thing or two about running a solo business (I've been doing this for 15 years).
